1. WHERE IS LA ARBOLEDA LOCATED?
La Arboleda is located in the Santa Rita Hills of Santa Barbara County,
California, near the charming wine country towns of Buellton and Solvang.
Exact directions are provided with your confirmed tour appointment to protect
the privacy of our estate.
2. IS LA ARBOLEDA A PRIVATE PROPERTY?
Yes. La Arboleda is a private estate and is open only by appointment for tours
and private events.
3. WHAT MAKES LA ARBOLEDA UNIQUE?
La Arboleda is a private, three-acre garden estate featuring a permanent
covered pavilion, multiple ceremony sites, on-site cottages, a mature olive
orchard, walnut trees, a waterfall and water wheel, and the ability to host fully
customized wedding weekends and large cultural celebrations up to 500 guests.
4. WHAT IS THE GUEST CAPACITY?
• Up to 350 guests in the covered pavilion
• Events above 350 and up to 500 guests are available with a custom event
plan
5. DOES LA ARBOLEDA OFFER WEDDING PACKAGES?
Yes. Our weekend wedding packages include three-day, two-night access to the estate, rehearsal and ceremony options, reception in our covered pavilion, tables, chairs, and access to our on-site cottages. Packages start at $15,000.
6. WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE WEEKEND PACKAGE?
• Three-day, two-night estate access
• Rehearsal, setup, and teardown time
• Use of the covered pavilion and gardens
• Tables and chairs for up to 200 guests
• On-site parking for vendors and on-site lodging guests
• Two on-site cottages: Wheelhouse and Waterfall House
• Basic ceiling draping in the pavilion
• Propane heaters with full tanks when needed
• Complimentary preview stay when a full wedding package is booked
7. CAN WE HAVE OUR CEREMONY OUTSIDE?
Yes. We offer several outdoor ceremony locations, including our lawn, gardens,
waterfall area, and under the oak trees. Your ceremony can be moved under
the pavilion if needed.
8. WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?
La Arboleda is a weather-flexible venue. Your ceremony, dining, and reception
can all be beautifully executed under our permanent covered pavilion. We will
create a customized rain plan with you. Additional covering is available. Inquire
for pricing.
9. CAN WE HOST MORE THAN ONE EVENT?
Yes. Weekend packages allow you to host multiple events such as a welcome
party, rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception, farewell brunch, and more.
10. DO YOU HAVE ON-SITE ACCOMMODATIONS?
WHEELHOUSE - Sleeps 2
Queen bed, makeup counter for 7, private bath with shower, armoire for dresses,
enclosed patio, water-wheel view, heating and air conditioning, and covered bridge entry.
WATERFALL HOUSE - Sleeps 4
Two queen beds, poker table, kitchenette, private bath with shower, suit hooks,
full-length mirror, hardwood floors, heating and air conditioning, and covered bridge
entry. Clients may choose who uses each cottage.
11. WHAT IS A PREVIEW STAY?
You can reserve a preview stay in one of our cottages to experience the estate
firsthand. When you book a full wedding package, your preview stay is complimentary.
12. WHERE DO MOST GUESTS STAY?
Most guests stay in Buellton, Solvang, and the surrounding Santa Ynez Valley. We
provide recommended lodging lists.
13. HOW DOES PARKING WORK?
On-site parking is limited and reserved for vendors and guests staying in our on-site
cottages. For larger events, a shuttle plan from nearby hotels is required. Clients
and their wedding planners are responsible for arranging and coordinating shuttle
service. La Arboleda does not provide or coordinate shuttles.
14. IS A SHUTTLE PLAN REQUIRED?
Yes. A shuttle plan is required for all events because on-site parking is limited.

15. CAN WE BRING OUR OWN ALCOHOL?
Yes. La Arboleda is a host-bar venue with no venue liquor markup. You provide the
alcohol and licensed bartenders. Event insurance with host-bar coverage is
required when alcohol will be served.
16. IS EVENT INSURANCE REQUIRED?
Yes. Clients are required to obtain event insurance, including host-bar coverage
when alcohol will be served.
17. IS A WEDDING PLANNER REQUIRED?
Yes. A wedding planner is required for all weddings.
18. IS THERE A SOUND CURFEW?
Yes. Per Santa Barbara County regulations, outdoor amplified music must end by 10:00 PM.
19. CAN WE BRING OUR OWN VENDORS?
Yes. You are welcome to bring your own licensed and insured vendors. We also
have a preferred vendor list we are happy to share.
20. IS LA ARBOLEDA PET-FRIENDLY?
Yes. Well-behaved pets are welcome. We also offer specialty animal add-ons such
as horses, donkeys, and carriages.
21. DO YOU HOST INDIAN AND MULTICULTURAL WEDDINGS?
Absolutely. We have extensive experience hosting Indian, South Asian, and
multicultural weddings, including multiple events and large guest counts up to 500.
22. DO YOU HOST CORPORATE EVENTS?
Yes. Our covered pavilion and private estate are ideal for corporate retreats,
meetings, workshops, client dinners, team-building events, and holiday parties.
23. HOW DO WE SCHEDULE A TOUR?
